A simple one-time payment
We only charge a simple, one-time payment for a tutor`s contact details. We do not receive any ongoing commissions from any tutors on our list, unlike many other agencies. This protects you from increased hourly rates from your chosen tutor since they don't have to pay commissions to us.
- 100% Free signup-you can register without paying a cent. Browse and message our tutors from our massive database.
- You can make payments through PayPal without registering for an account.
- Some tutors on our list also provide a discount on the first lesson when you pay for services.
- Since 2005, Tutor Hunt has helped thousands of students match themselves to a tutor that best suits them.
What makes us different?
Most tutor agencies will select your tutor for you, based on their opinion of what suits you best. Tutor Hunt doesn`t work this way. We believe that the parent or student is the best judge. They will know what fits them best compared to an agency assessor.
Most agencies take a consistent cut from the tutor as commissions, deeply affecting the tutor`s earnings. This usually results in the tutor driving up their hourly rate considerably, in order to recoup from lost income. The cost is passed on to you and with ongoing lessons; the total bill can be quite high. The hourly rates for tutors registered with Tutor Hunt are MUCH lower than through other tutor services. They have complete control of their rates and that is also due to the fact that we do not take any commission from them.
