Hi! I`m Raquel .

I graduated from Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Taguig branch in 2018, with a bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics.
I always thought back when I was studying that my dream was to be a High-school teacher, specializing in English and Basic Mathematics like Algebra. It made sense that time as I loved tutoring my classmates on the said subjects and I can say that I was good at them.

Now, I am grabbing this chance to pursue that dream even if it is a part-time job only.

Experience: After college, I became an administrative support in the insurance industry for over 3 years now.

My first work as a professional started when I worked as a marketing assistant in an insurance brokerage firm in Makati, which is Lockton Philippines. In there, I have gained a strong understanding of the account administration procedures in an insurance brokerage firm; which involves entertaining clients` requests for insurance coverage, premium collection, weekly preparation of account receivables report, and maintaining the filing system. I stayed there for over a year and a half.

After that, I looked for an opportunity in actuarial area of insurance, since that was my major in college. I was fortunately hired as an actuarial associate in a known non-life insurance company in Manila, which is Alliedbankers. In there, my experience was more on producing reports, charts and tables using excel that explain certain analyses such as profitability. I also stayed there for over a year and a half.
