My name is Karl, and I have been a professional teacher for 21+ years. I was born in Sweden in a bilingual home, my father from the UK and my mother from Sweden, so it`s likely that my early interest in language, as well as literature, came from that upbringing. After university studies in languages, I later turned on to my second big interest, which is Biology and the life sciences. Throughout my studies, I took great pleasure in teaching, and that interest has only increased over the years. Having a background in both the Humanities and the Sciences I feel has made me able to adjust and adapt to the needs and wishes of students with different interests and backgrounds. I have always had an interest in travelling and encountering people from different cultures, and for the past seven years I have gained further experience in teaching and doing research on an international level, first in Hong Kong SAR and now here in the Philippines where I continue my own educational journey as well.
